Keeping your Number

You need to use the new SIM provided with your iPhone to enjoy free WiFi and unlimited data. If you're joining from another network and want to keep your existing mobile, here's how to do it.

  • Get in touch with your existing network and ask them for a 'PAC' code (Port Authorisation Code)
  • Call our Customer Care team on 4455 (calls cost 20p per call) with this code-we'll do the rest and have your number transferred within two working days. Don't worry-you can still use your iPhone as normal while your number is being transferred.

If you're an existing Tesco Mobile customer upgrading to an iPhone and want to keep your mobile number, call our Customer Care team on 4455 and they will transfer it onto your new SIM.

I'm having difficulties sending emails with iPhone?

The vast majority of email providers will allow you to use their SMTP for sending email even when using a mobile device.

There are some email providers that do not allow this. In these cases we suggest you use an alternative SMTP setting such as smtp.o2.co.uk

We recommend you use your own ISP outgoing server with your ISP username and password. If your ISP doesn't support this you can use smtp.o2.co.uk adding your full O2 email address and O2 password.
