Pay as you go

Free bundles

If you top-up £15 or more in month you’ll get one of the bundles below free of charge. 

How does it work?

  • If you activated with Tesco Mobile before 1st May 2012, please call 282 free from your Tesco Mobile phone and follow the prompts to opt into free bundles.
  • If you activated on or after 1st May 2012 and you’re already on the Triple Credit tariff, you’re already opted in.  If you’re not on the Triple Credit tariff you’ll need to call 282 free from your Tesco Mobile phone to opt in.
  • We’ll send you a text at the end of the month to let you know that your free bundle is about to end and to remind you to top-up £15 or more to get your free bundle again next month.
  • If you don’t top-up £15 or more in a month, you won’t get a free bundle but you can still buy our minutes, texts and data bundles, from the drop down sections below.

How to opt in to the promotion and change your free bundle

  • If you activated with Tesco Mobile before 1st May 2012, please call 282 free from your Tesco Mobile phone and follow the prompts to opt into free bundles.
  • If you activated on or after 1st May 2012, you’re already opted in.
  • Your free bundle will be automatically be set as 5000 texts. If you’d like to choose one of our other free bundles, call 282 free and follow the prompts or log in to your My Tesco Mobile account. Please note, any change of preference will be for your next free bundle, so you’ll need to do this 1 month in advance.
  • Please note, you can’t have more than one bundle of the same type at the same time. For example, if you’ve already got a data bundle, you should cancel it before getting your free data bundle otherwise you’ll lose your current bundle when your free one is added. Or, you could just choose one of our other free bundles as your preference instead.

Minutes bundles

Our 150 minutes bundle gives you 150 minutes to any network minutes for just £5.  

How does it work?

  • If you’re on Pay as you go, you can buy a minutes bundle to get great value for money.
  • Your bundle will start on the day you opt into it and will automatically renew every month.
  • We'll send you a text message to let you know when the money is about to be taken from your top-up balance.
  • If you don't have enough credit, your minutes bundle will be automatically cancelled and you'll be charged at our standard rates.

iPhone data bundles

If you’re a new Pay as you go iPhone customer, you get 1GB data + unlimited BT Openzone Wi-Fi free for 12 months from activation. After 12 months, you’ll be automatically moved onto the chargeable 1GB + Wi-Fi bundle. We’ll let you know at least 30 days before you’re charged, so you can choose to opt out of the chargeable bundle if you’d prefer.
