If you’re an existing customer on the Unlimited Browsing Pass, then you can keep using it for as long as you like, provided you have enough credit on your renewal date. If you don’t have enough credit on your renewal date the service will be cancelled and you won’t be able to opt back in again. Similarly, if you opt out of the service you won’t be able to opt back in.
The following terms and conditions continue to apply to customers while they remain on the Unlimited GPRS data browsing pass services. The Tesco Mobile Pay as you go Tariff and Tesco Mobile Pay as you go Service terms and conditions apply.
- The Unlimited GPRS Data Browsing Pass ('Unlimited Browsing Pass') is available for all Tesco Mobile Pay as you go customers and provides seven days of unlimited browsing.
- You can opt-in to the Unlimited Browsing Pass online at My Tesco Mobile, calling our Bundles line free on 2709 from your Tesco Mobile, or by calling Customer Care on 4455. Please click here for full opt-in details.
- The Unlimited Browsing Pass will start within 4 hours of signing up and runs for a week and will automatically renew every week thereafter until you give us notice that you no longer want to receive the Pass.
- Payment for the Unlimited Browsing Pass will be taken from your Pay as you go top-up balance every week, on the same weekday you originally purchased it
- If you do not have sufficient top-up credit, your Unlimited Browsing Pass will be automatically cancelled and you be charged as per your normal tariff per MB rate. You will need to be opt-in again if you want to continue to receive the Unlimited Browsing Pass.
- We will take payment as soon as you sign up and we will send you a text to confirm the date your Unlimited Browsing Pass starts.
- Charges for the Unlimited Browsing Pass will be clearly set out on our website at www.tescomobile.com and in any marketing material. You will also be advised of the charge by text each week before payment is taken.
- You can cancel your Unlimited Browsing pass online at My Tesco Mobile, calling our Bundles line free on 2709 from your Tesco Mobile, or by calling Customer Care on 4455. You must contact us before or on Friday to cancel the Unlimited Browsing Pass for the following Monday. Otherwise, your cancellation will take effect from the Monday after that.
- The Unlimited Browsing Pass is not available to Pay monthly customers and if you change to a Pay monthly tariff you will no longer be able to use your Pass.
- If you’re on a Tesco Mobile Pay as you go tariff which offers free credit, the Unlimited Browsing Pass is available in addition to any free credit available on that tariff and the browsing from your Unlimited Browsing Pass will be used before your free credit is used.
- Tesco Mobile accepts no responsibility for any tax liability caused/incurred by use of this service.
- Our unlimited pass can be used on GPRS and 3G networks (as applicable to your handset), for personal internet use via your mobile phone whilst you are in the UK.
Fair Usage Policy
- We may impose an upper limit on the amount of browsing that can be used as part of the Unlimited Browsing Pass. Any such limit will be clearly set out on www.tescomobile.com or in any marketing materials and will only be imposed to prevent atypical use and/or abuse.
- Unlimited GPRS Data Browsing is subject to the following fair usage policy which includes, but is not limited to use by you (or any third party permitted by you):
(i) of the Tesco Mobile Network for commercial purposes;
(ii) which we reasonably believe adversely impacts the service of other customers or may adversely affect the Network; and
(iii) which we reasonably believe excessively or continually exceeds any upper limit which is imposed.
- We reserve the right to monitor your usage and, if we reasonably determine that your use is abusive or in breach of our fair usage policy, we may do any or all of the following:
(i) request you to moderate your use;
(ii) impose further charges in respect of your atypical or abusive use; or
(iii) suspend or withdraw your access to the Unlimited Browsing Pass.
- Where abuse or breach is suspected, we will endeavour to contact you before taking action in accordance with paragraph 13. In the case of severe abuse, as reasonably determined by us, we reserve the right to suspend your use of the Tesco Mobile Pay As You Go service, having attempted to contact you first.
