Pay Monthly 'Recommend A Friend' - Terms & Conditions

  1. All Tesco Mobile Pay monthly account holders who receive the Pay Monthly 'Recommend a Friend' offer in their online Pay monthly phone bill will be awarded 1,000 Clubcard points for each friend they get to join Tesco Mobile Pay monthly.

  2. There is no limit to how many friends you can recommend to join Tesco Mobile Pay monthly but they must fulfil qualification criteria each time. To qualify for 1,000 free points, your friend must call 0845 301 4455, quote ‘FRIEND’ and your Tesco Mobile Pay monthly phone number.

  3. The qualification criteria is that each friend must remain connected to Tesco Mobile Pay monthly, and make full bill payments, for 2 months.

  4. Clubcard points will be awarded in the next available quarterly Clubcard statement. In order to receive points, the customer who has made the recommendation must have their mobile registered to their Clubcard (call 282 free from a Tesco Mobile phone to do this or call Customer on 4455).

3 months free GPRS - Terms & Conditions

  1. The Tesco Mobile Pay as you go tariff and Tesco Mobile Pay as you go Service terms and conditions also apply.

  2. The 3 months free unlimited GPRS Browsing offer ('Free Unlimited Browsing') is available for all customers who purchase a selected handset on the Tesco Mobile network before 31 March 2010.

  3. Free Unlimited Browsing provides three months of unlimited browsing on the GPRS and 3G networks (as applicable to your handset), for personal internet use via your mobile phone whilst you are in the UK. Free Unlimited Browsing is subject to the Fair Usage Policy set out below.

  4. The Free Unlimited Browsing offer is available with the purchase of the following handsets: the Nokia 6303, Nokia 2330, Nokia 2700, LG GW 300 and Alcatel OT-800.

  5. You must activate your phone and Tesco Mobile Pay as you go SIM to receive your Free Unlimited Browsing.

  6. You can activate your phone and Tesco Mobile Pay As you Go SIM by 31st March 2010.

  7. Your Free Unlimited Browsing will start five days after you activate your phone and Tesco Mobile Pay as you go SIM.

  8. You will receive an SMS to tell you when your Free Browsing has started.

  9. You will receive a further SMS at the end of the 3 month period to inform you that your Free Browsing has ended.

    Fair Usage Policy
  10. We may impose an upper limit on the amount of browsing that can be used as part of the Unlimited Browsing Pass. Any such limit will be clearly set out on www.tescomobile.com or in any marketing materials and will only be imposed to prevent atypical use and/or abuse.

  11. Unlimited GPRS Data Browsing is subject to the following fair usage policy which includes, but is not limited to use by you (or any third party permitted by you):
    (i) of the Tesco Mobile Network for commercial purposes;
    (ii) which we reasonably believe adversely impacts the service of other customers or may adversely affect the Network; and
    (iii) which we reasonably believe excessively or continually exceeds any upper limit which is imposed.

  12. We reserve the right to monitor your usage and, if we reasonably determine that your use is abusive or in breach of our fair usage policy, we may do any or all of the following:
    (i) request you to moderate your use;
    (ii) impose further charges in respect of your atypical or abusive use; or
    (iii) suspend or withdraw your access to the Unlimited Browsing Pass.

  13. Where abuse or breach is suspected, we will endeavour to contact you before taking action in accordance with paragraph 13. In the case of severe abuse, as reasonably determined by us, we reserve the right to suspend your use of the Tesco Mobile Pay As You Go service, having attempted to contact you first.

Tesco Mobile 'Drop It' - Terms & Conditions

  1. The Tesco Mobile 'Drop it' promotion gives away a free download of the 'Drop it!' mobile game.

  2. All texts to the 83726 number, any mobile internet browsing connected with the game and the actual downloading of the game are free for Tesco Mobile customers whilst in the UK. For customers on other UK networks, texts to 83726 are charged at your network standard rate and your normal mobile internet browsing and data charges apply. Please check with your network provider for their applicable charges.

  3. Posting of high scores to the Hi-Scores Table, and browsing of the Hi-Score tables will be free to Tesco Mobile customers. Customers of other mobile networks will be charged at your network standard mobile internet browsing rate. Please check with your network provider for their applicable charges.

  4. Downloading of levels 7-12, will be free for Tesco Mobile Customers. Customers of other mobile networks will be charged at your network standard rate and your normal mobile internet browsing and data charges apply. Please check with your network provider for their applicable charges.  To unlock the 6 remaining locked levels, numbers 7-12, there will a charge of £1.50 for all customers.

  9. To gain entry to the competition, an entrant must post a highscore to the Tesco Mobile highscore by midnight on the 20th January 2010.  1. The competition element of the promotion is open to all residents of England, Wales or Scotland aged 16 or over, excluding employees of InfoMedia Services Limited, Tesco Stores Plc. and Tesco Mobile Limited, their agents or their families or anyone with any professional association with this promotion.

  10. The following prizes shall be awarded to the customer with the highest score posted before midnight on the 20th January 2010 for each of the 12 levels within the game:
                   Levels 1-3  500 Clubcard Points
                   Levels 4-6  1000 Clubcard Points
                   Levels 7-9  1500 Clubcard Points
                   Levels 10-12  2000 Clubcard Points

  11. The winners will be contacted on the mobile number that submitted the high score or the number provided to Tesco Mobile at the point of registration.

  12. In the event that the same entrant secures the highest score on more than one level, that entrant shall only be awarded the prize for the highest level for which the highest score was secured. Prizes for the other levels shall be awarded to the next highest score from a unique entrant.

  1. All customers who receive a specific text message from Tesco Mobile will receive 300 free Tesco Clubcard Points if they register their Tesco Mobile to a Tesco Clubcard by the date specified in the text.

5000 text promotion - Terms & Conditions

  1. The promotional free 5000 text bundle ("Promotional Bundle") is available to new Tesco Mobile Pay as you go with free credit SIM only customers and customers purchasing a Tesco Mobile Pay as you go handset who activate and top-up on between 00:00 on March 19th 2012 and midnight on April 29th 2012. You can top up using any of our normal Pay as you go methods.

  2. Your Promotional Bundle” will automatically be applied within approximately 4 hours of activating your new Tesco Mobile SIM by making your first top up of £10 or more. You will receive a text message to tell you when your Promotional Bundle is activated.

  3. Your Promotional Bundle can be used for texts to UK mobile and 01, 02 and 03 numbers from the UK only. Texts to other numbers will be charged in accordance with our standard Pay as you go rates.

  4. By using your Promotional Bundle you will be deemed to have accepted and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  5. Your Promotional Bundle will last for 30 days from the date of activation or until you have used all of your 5000 texts, if sooner. You will receive a text message telling you when your Promotional Bundle has ended. After your Promotional Bundle has ended you will be charged for sending text messages in accordance with our standard Pay as you go rates.

  6. Your Promotional Bundle cannot be transferred. To remain eligible for the Promotional Bundle, you must stay connected to Tesco Mobile Pay as you go with the same mobile phone number.

  7. Each time you send a standard text message we will take it from your Promotional Bundle. Text delivery cannot always be guaranteed. A standard text message is a person to another individual person message which is 160 characters long, but some handsets let you send longer ones. In that case the message will be divided up into the number of standard texts required to convey the message, each one of these separate texts will be deducted from your Promotional Bundle.  

  8. If you breach these terms, or if there has been any fraud or abuse of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to withdraw the Promotional Bundle and seek reimbursement of charges for texts you have sent in accordance with our standard tariff. We reserve the right to replace, amend or withdraw any of the Promotional Bundles or these terms at any time on reasonable notice.

  9. Unused texts not be carried forward or rolled over into any other Bundle. No credits or refunds will be given.

  10. If you’re on a Tesco Mobile Pay as you go tariff which offers free credit, the Promotional Bundle is available in addition to any free credit available on that tariff however, texts will be taken from your Promotional Bundle first until your Promotional Bundle allowance is fully used up before your free credit is used.

10% of top-ups - Terms & Conditions

The full terms and conditions of this promotion are as follows.

  1. The Tesco Mobile ‘10% of top-ups back’ (“the Promotion”) is open to all Tesco Mobile Pay as you go customers who are invited by text message and who opt in by calling 2701 from their Tesco Mobile phone and registering.

  2. The Promotion runs from 1st December 2011 to 15th January 2012 (“the Promotional Period”) and gives registered customers 10% back on the value of all the top-ups they make during the Promotional Period, regardless of when in the period they register.

  3. Opt-in to the Promotion and all redemption text messages are free of charge for all participating customers.

  4. The period where participating customers can claim their free credit (“the Redemption Period”) is between 1st December 2011 to 15th January 2012.  No free credit can be claimed after the Redemption Period has ended.  During the Redemption Period, participating customers will be sent a text message confirming free credit earned and must follow the instructions in that text message to redeem the free credit.  Not following the instructions will mean free credit will not be given.  Free credit will be loaded, in pounds and pence, within approximately 48 hours of the customer claiming their reward, to the customer’s top-up balance.

  5. To be eligible for free credit, customers must stay connected to Tesco Mobile Pay as you go, with the same mobile phone number, for the duration of the Promotional Period and Redemption Period.

  6. Any free credit earned will not count as qualifying top-up towards any other Tesco Mobile Pay as you go tariffs.

  7. Customers may use any combination of top-up methods: E top-up, credit/debit card, voucher, e-voucher, ATM, Web, SMS, regular top-up, auto top-up or any other new top-up medium supported by Tesco Mobile.

  8. If the customer’s mobile is barred or if the customer fails to top-up in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Promotion, entry into the Promotion will be invalidated.

  9. Free credit may only be used in conjunction with your existing Tesco Mobile Pay as you go mobile and cannot be transferred.  No cash alternatives will be given.

  10. By entering into this programme, customers will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions are deemed to form part of these terms and conditions.
