The difference between Tesco Phone shop, Tesco Direct and Tesco Mobile

We know it can be a bit confusing to understand the difference between Tesco Phone Shops, Tesco Mobile and Tesco Direct. Each one sells mobile phone products so you may be wondering where you need to go to find the product you want. Here’s a helpful explanation for each part of the Tesco business:

Where are they?

What can I buy?

Both in store and online you can buy Pay Monthly phones and SIMs for all networks - Tesco Mobile, Orange, O2, 3, T-Mobile, Vodafone and Virgin. In store you are also able to buy Pay as you go phones and SIM free phones for the above networks too.

What is it?

Tesco Mobile is a network provider like O2 or Vodafone. You can view the Tesco Mobile website here. You can buy a Pay monthly or Pay as you go phone with the network or alternatively go for a SIM only deal.

Where can I buy?

You can buy Pay Monthly and SIM only phones on the Tesco Mobile network from the Tesco Mobile website and in store at Tesco Phone shops.

What is it?

Tesco Direct is a website to buy electricals, home furnishings, toys and more. You have the option to have items delivered to your house or you can Click & Collect where the goods are delivered to a Tesco store and you pick them up from there.

What can I buy?

If you buy a Pay as you go phone on either the Tesco Phone shop website or Tesco Mobile website you will be directed to Tesco Direct to make the transaction there. Likewise accessories are always bought through the Tesco Direct website but links are provided on our Tesco Phone Shop websites.
